The final instalment of the Yoruba action-drama series, Agbofinro, is set to premiere on Monday, November 2, 2026, bringing the story to its conclusion with the release of Agbofinro 6: The Hunt.
Produced by Ayo Olaiya, the film will be available for free streaming on the AyoOlaiyaCrafts YouTube channel from 2:15 pm.
The release will conclude the ongoing storyline, which has kept viewers following the experiences of Detective Muer Williams and the mysteries surrounding the earlier instalments.
The final chapter was initially scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, October 28. However, the producer announced a change in the release date, explaining that the additional time was needed to ensure the production was properly polished before it became available to audiences.
November 2 was subsequently confirmed as the new premiere date.
Fisayo Abebi, Ibrahim Chatta, Others Feature
The production features several familiar faces in the Yoruba movie industry, including Fisayo Abebi, Kola Ajeyemi, Ibrahim Chatta, Funmi Bankanthony and Elijah Adeosun.
Ayo Olaiya, who produced the movie, brings together the cast for the concluding chapter of the action-drama series.
Titled The Hunt, the final instalment is expected to continue from the events of Agbofinro 5, which ended with unresolved developments that left several questions surrounding the characters and their circumstances.
The new release is expected to provide answers to some of the issues raised in the previous chapter while bringing the central storyline to a close.
What to Expect From the Final Chapter
At the centre of the story is Detective Muer Williams, whose investigation and experiences have driven much of the series’ narrative.
The final chapter is expected to revisit the unresolved Millennium case, which remains one of the major mysteries from the previous instalments.
Another important element is the threat posed by a mysterious tracking organisation. Its activities have formed part of the wider conflict, with the concluding episode expected to reveal more about its involvement and the implications for the characters.
The question of justice for Rolake is also among the issues viewers expect the final instalment to address.
Following the cliffhangers in Agbofinro 5, the concluding film is positioned to bring together these different storylines and provide resolutions to the questions surrounding the investigation.
The title, The Hunt, also reflects the action-driven direction of the final chapter, with the story expected to maintain the suspense and intensity associated with the earlier releases.
For viewers who have followed the series from the beginning, the November 2 premiere presents an opportunity to discover how the different conflicts are resolved and what ultimately happens to the characters.
Free YouTube Premiere
The film will premiere exclusively on the AyoOlaiyaCrafts YouTube channel, where viewers can watch it without paying a streaming fee.
The online release gives fans of Yoruba films an opportunity to follow the conclusion of the series from their homes and other locations through internet-enabled devices.
Audiences who have not watched the previous instalments may also need to catch up on the earlier chapters to better understand the characters, investigations and unresolved events leading into The Hunt.
The production’s behind-the-scenes updates and earlier announcements have also provided followers with glimpses of the work surrounding the final release.
With the date now confirmed, attention is on the concluding chapter and the answers it promises to deliver.
