“Who Do You Think You Are?” - Speed Darlington Fires Back At GehGeh For Mocking His Boxing Loss

Speed Darlington has hit back at social media personality Geh Geh after Geh Geh took aim at him following his defeat to Carter Efe in a celebrity boxing match.

The two entertainers have now traded words after Geh Geh criticised Darlington's decision to continue participating in celebrity boxing events. His comments focused largely on the defeat and Darlington's age, with Geh Geh questioning why the entertainer was still stepping into the ring instead of calling time on his boxing appearances.

Geh Geh said he was ashamed that Darlington had been beaten by Carter Efe, pointing out the age difference between both fighters. He also argued that Darlington needed to recognise when it was time to stop, rather than continue appearing in celebrity boxing matches and, in his view, putting himself in situations where he could be embarrassed.

Darlington did not agree with that assessment. Instead of accepting the criticism, he turned the attention to Geh Geh and questioned what gave him the authority to advise him in the first place.

“Who do you think you are. What makes you qualified to give me advice. Me I no get level? Which level you get? Your video is full of jealousy. I have show tomorrow in Owerri, wetin Yiu get? I dey reign. You no even reach to give me advice. Do you know what it takes to be speed Darlington? The amount of money required to be Speed Darlington? Your whole video is full of jealousy because you no get visa to USA. You can't even talk to me like that one on one. I will.”

Darlington also made it clear that he believes his career and lifestyle are on a different level, asking Geh Geh to consider what it takes to maintain the profile he has built for himself.

His response also suggested that he viewed Geh Geh's criticism as coming from jealousy rather than genuine concern. He pointed specifically to the fact that he had another show lined up in Owerri, stressing that he was still active and focused on his own career.

The back-and-forth came shortly after Carter Efe defeated Darlington in their celebrity boxing bout. Rather than allowing the result to speak for itself, Geh Geh used the defeat as an opportunity to question whether Darlington should continue taking part in such events.

Darlington, however, appears unwilling to let the loss define him. His response focused less on the outcome of the fight and more on Geh Geh's decision to publicly advise him.

For Darlington, the bigger issue seems to be who gets to criticise him and whether that person has earned the right to speak to him in that manner. His response made it clear that he does not believe Geh Geh has reached that level.

The exchange has now put the focus back on the two entertainers, with Darlington standing by his career choices while pushing back strongly against the criticism that followed his boxing defeat.
