Nollywood actress and filmmaker Ruth Kadiri has released a new drama film, User Friendly, featuring herself alongside actors Maurice Sam, Fessa and Betty Ajoku.
The movie premiered on Thursday, October 29, 2026, on her official YouTube channel, Ruth Kadiri 247, giving fans an opportunity to watch the production online.
The latest release adds to Kadiri’s growing collection of films distributed through digital platforms, where she has continued to connect with audiences through stories centred on relationships, family experiences and everyday challenges.
Known for combining humour with thought-provoking themes, the filmmaker has built an audience around productions that explore human behaviour, romantic relationships and the complications that often arise in people’s personal lives.
User Friendly follows a similar direction, bringing together a cast of familiar faces for a drama that promises to entertain viewers while offering material for reflection.
Although detailed information about the storyline has not been provided, the film’s title suggests themes that can generate conversations about human relationships, social interactions and the expectations people place on one another.
Ruth Kadiri leads the cast
Kadiri takes a leading role in the production, appearing alongside Maurice Sam, Fessa and Betty Ajoku.
The actress has remained an active presence in Nollywood, balancing her work in front of the camera with responsibilities as a filmmaker and producer.
Over the years, she has developed a strong following through her acting performances and independent movie projects. Her films frequently explore relationships, marriage, family tensions, personal decisions and the consequences of people’s actions.
Her approach often combines dramatic situations with lighter moments, allowing audiences to engage with stories that reflect familiar experiences.
Maurice Sam is also among the featured actors in User Friendly. The actor has appeared in several Nollywood productions, particularly romantic and relationship-focused dramas, earning recognition among viewers of online movies.
Fessa and Betty Ajoku complete the announced cast, joining Kadiri and Sam in the new production.
The combination brings together performers whose roles contribute to the film’s exploration of everyday experiences and interpersonal relationships.
Kadiri’s continued investment in digital releases
The release of User Friendly further highlights Kadiri’s use of YouTube as a distribution platform for her film projects.
Rather than depending exclusively on traditional cinema releases, the actress has continued to make movies available through her dedicated channel, allowing viewers to access her productions from different locations.
Her YouTube platform, Ruth Kadiri 247, has become an outlet for audiences who follow her work and regularly seek out her latest releases.
The digital distribution model also gives filmmakers an opportunity to reach viewers directly while building a community around their content.
For movie lovers, it provides the convenience of watching productions using internet-connected devices without necessarily visiting a cinema.
Kadiri’s continued releases have helped maintain her visibility among audiences who enjoy Nigerian relationship dramas and stories about family and social experiences.
Where to watch ‘User Friendly’
User Friendly became available on October 29, 2026, through the Ruth Kadiri 247 YouTube channel.

With Kadiri leading the cast alongside Maurice Sam, Fessa and Betty Ajoku, the production adds another title to the filmmaker’s growing catalogue of digital releases.
The movie’s arrival also gives her followers another opportunity to engage with her storytelling style, which often blends humour, emotional situations and lessons drawn from everyday relationships.
As Nollywood continues to embrace online distribution, filmmakers such as Kadiri are using their digital platforms to make their work accessible to audiences beyond traditional cinema spaces.
