“Tell Nigerians Why Davido Stopped Picking Your Calls” — Uche Maduagwu Drags VDM

Uche Maduagwu has taken aim at VeryDarkMan (VDM), questioning what may have happened between him and Davido after claims that the singer stopped answering his phone calls.

Uche wants VDM to explain why his relationship with Davido appears to have changed, especially considering their reported meeting in Lagos in 2023. He believes there are questions VDM needs to address about his past interactions with the singer and the claims he has made about him.

Uche wrote:

“VDM, tell Nigerians why Davido stopped picking your PHONE CALLS! You think this INFORMATION will never come out?.

"Well, according to sources, VDM is still ANGRY with DAVIDO because he stopped answering his calls. And guess WHY 001 stopped picking VDM’s calls? According to him, VDM has lost all the INTEGRITY he once CLAIMED to have.

"‎WHY do you think even Peter Okoye ignored VDM when he was allegedly trying to MANIPULATE facts and EVIDENCE before Nigerians?

"‎VDM claimed that Davido has been an APC supporter since 2014, but how come this same VDM rushed to Lagos on an OKADA, as if he were riding a “I better pass my neighbour” generator, just to visit 001 in 2023?

"‎VDM also CLAIMED that Davido allegedly offered him MONEY several times, but he refused to collect it, yet he has provided no EVIDENCE to support that claim. So, how come VDM didn’t refuse Don Jazzy’s ₦100 million NGO DONATION?".

Uche’s criticism goes beyond the alleged phone call situation. He also questioned VDM’s claims about Davido’s political affiliation, pointing to the assertion that the singer had supported the All Progressives Congress (APC) since 2014.

He brought up VDM’s reported journey to Lagos on an okada to visit Davido in 2023, asking why he would make that effort to see the singer if he had concerns about Davido’s political position.

For Uche, the circumstances surrounding that visit raise questions about how VDM’s previous relationship with Davido fits with the claims he is making now. However, the reported visit alone does not establish what either man believed about the other’s political views at the time.

Peter Okoye also came into the discussion, as Uche questioned why the singer allegedly ignored VDM when he was attempting to present certain facts and evidence to Nigerians. Uche’s comments suggest that he doubts VDM’s approach to some of the issues he has brought before the public.

Another point Uche raised was VDM’s allegation that Davido had offered him money on several occasions, which he claimed to have rejected.

Uche questioned why VDM had not provided evidence to support that allegation. He also compared the claim with the ₦100 million donation that Don Jazzy reportedly made to VDM’s NGO, asking why VDM accepted the donation if he was unwilling to accept money from Davido.

Uche summed up his criticism with another pointed question:

“You see why some people are questioning VDM’s INTEGRITY?”

The dispute raises questions about VDM’s claims, his past association with Davido and the reported change in their communication. However, the reasons Davido allegedly stopped answering VDM’s calls have not been independently established, and Uche’s comments do not confirm the singer’s motives.
