Popular TikTok couple Peller and Jarvis have once again found themselves at the centre of attention after engaging in a heated argument during a recent livestream.
The social media personalities, who recently welcomed news of their first pregnancy and formalised their relationship through several wedding ceremonies, appeared to disagree over how Peller speaks about Jarvis’ family.
The latest disagreement reportedly began when Peller described himself and Jarvis as being like parents to her younger sister. The statement did not sit well with Jarvis, who immediately objected and told her husband not to make such comments.
Jarvis Rejects Peller’s Claims
During the argument, Jarvis also reprimanded Peller for suggesting that he would be involved in choosing a husband for her younger sister.
Jarvis reportedly responded that if her parents had such an intention and wanted to choose a husband for her sister, Peller would be the last person they would select.
The exchange became increasingly tense as both personalities expressed their frustrations.
Peller, during the argument, also claimed that Jarvis’ sister disrespected him because he does not have muscles, adding another layer to the disagreement.
The situation eventually escalated when Jarvis told Peller to keep her family out of his mouth. In response, the popular streamer removed his wife from his livestream.
Peller also threatened to block members of Jarvis’ family and said they should not approach him for anything.
Previous Disagreements Have Gone Public
The latest confrontation is not the first time the couple’s marital disagreements have played out publicly.
During a previous livestream, Jarvis criticised Peller for travelling to China while leaving her in Canada. She made it clear that she was not interested in playing the role of an overly understanding wife and said people should not expect her to simply accept the situation.
Jarvis also emphasised that although she cared about his earnings, she wanted a husband who was physically present.
In another livestream on Switch, Jarvis reprimanded Peller over the way he spoke to their unborn child.
She objected to him speaking Pidgin English to the baby and told him to stop misbehaving. She also encouraged him to communicate with her in English, particularly using phonetics.
Honeymoon Also Became a Source of Tension
The couple previously attracted attention after Jarvis opened up about her honeymoon experience, admitting that it did not meet her expectations.
While they were in the United Kingdom for their honeymoon, Jarvis reportedly became emotional over what she described as neglect from her husband.
She claimed that Peller ignored her call and left her feeling upset and lonely in their apartment.
Jarvis also said she was responsible for cleaning the apartment while pregnant, adding to her frustrations during the trip.
The revelations generated reactions online as fans continued to follow the couple’s highly publicised relationship.
From Proposal to Marriage
Peller and Jarvis’ relationship has undergone several major milestones in the past year.
In June, Peller proposed to Jarvis, his longtime girlfriend, during an intimate beachside setup at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Ghana.
Jarvis accepted the proposal while shedding tears of joy, marking the beginning of their journey towards marriage.
A week later, Peller officially paid Jarvis’ bride price in her hometown of Benin City.
The couple subsequently legalised their union on Wednesday, July 29, through a court wedding attended by Daddy Freeze and other guests.
During the ceremony, Peller also engaged in a brief exchange with the marriage registrar after she explained that violating marriage vows through bigamy constitutes a criminal offence punishable by a minimum of five years’ imprisonment without the option of a fine.
Traditional Wedding and Pregnancy Announcement
On August 1, Peller and Jarvis traditionally tied the knot in a lavish ceremony attended by several celebrities and public figures.
Guests included Iyabo Ojo, Priscilla Ojo and her husband Juma Jux, Foluke Daramola, Wunmi Ajiboye, Soso Soberekon, Cubana Chief Priest and Seun Kuti, among others.
The couple later announced that they were expecting their first child after months of denying pregnancy rumours.
Despite the celebrations surrounding their marriage and impending parenthood, their relationship continues to attract attention whenever disagreements between them become public.
Their latest clash over family boundaries has once again sparked conversations among their followers, with many watching to see how the couple handles the disagreement away from the livestream.
