The upcoming release adds to the range of Yoruba films being made available to audiences through online streaming platforms. Its arrival on Yorubaplus will enable viewers to access the production directly through YouTube.
The film’s announcement has drawn attention to its cast, which includes actors who have become recognisable to audiences through their work in the Nigerian movie industry.

The October 20 release date also gives fans a clear date to look forward to as they prepare to watch the movie online.
Odunlade Adekola Leads Star-Studded Cast
One of the major attractions of Olokuada is its cast, which includes Odunlade Adekola, one of the familiar names in Yoruba-language cinema.
The actor has built a strong presence in Nollywood through his performances in films across different genres. His involvement in the project is likely to attract the attention of viewers who follow his work.
He is joined by Mide Martins, another established actress known for her roles in Yoruba movies. Martins has appeared in numerous productions that explore family relationships, emotional conflicts and other dramatic themes.
Ronke Odusanya is also among the featured actors, bringing another recognisable name to the production.
The cast further includes Afeez Abiodun, popularly known as Afeez Owo, who is not only an actor but also the director of Olokuada. Aina Gold completes the list of performers highlighted in the movie announcement.
The combination of these actors gives the film a strong ensemble, with the audience set to see how their performances come together when the movie premieres.
Afeez Owo Directs The Movie
The production is directed by veteran filmmaker Afeez Abiodun, widely known as Afeez Owo.
His role behind the camera places him at the centre of the creative process, overseeing the direction of the movie and how its story is presented to viewers.
The collaboration between Ajiboye as producer and Afeez Owo as director brings together two contributors to the project, while the cast provides the on-screen performances.
However, specific details about the plot, characters and themes have not been provided in the announcement. Further descriptions of the story would therefore depend on information released by the filmmakers or what viewers discover when they watch the film.
