Nollywood actress and television presenter Nancy Isime has warned individuals and organisations against conducting business or negotiating professional engagements in her name without her approval.

The actress issued the warning in a public statement shared on her Instagram page on Monday, October 5, 2026, following reports of people allegedly presenting themselves as representatives of her interests.

Nancy said she became aware of situations in which individuals had claimed to have the authority to negotiate or enter into arrangements on her behalf.

She made it clear that such persons do not have permission to represent her unless she has expressly authorised them to do so.

She therefore advised brands, advertising agencies, corporate bodies, media organisations, event organisers, film producers and other business partners to exercise caution when dealing with anyone claiming to represent her.

According to the actress, anyone seeking to enter a professional or commercial agreement with her should first confirm that the person involved has legitimate authority to act on her behalf.

She also warned members of the public and potential business partners to verify such claims before signing agreements, making financial commitments or transferring money for any engagement supposedly involving her.

Nancy stated that she had provided official channels through which individuals and organisations could confirm the identity and authority of anyone claiming to be handling business matters for her.

She directed stakeholders requiring formal confirmation to contact her through her official email address, info@nancyisime.com, or through her legal representatives, PUNUKA Attorneys & Solicitors.

The actress further made it clear that she would not overlook transactions carried out without her consent. She said she reserved the right to take appropriate legal action against individuals or entities involved in unauthorised representation, dealings or transactions conducted in her name.

The warning appears aimed at preventing potential confusion and protecting Nancy's professional reputation, particularly as her career spans acting, television presenting, brand partnerships and other commercial engagements.

Nancy Isime has built a strong presence in Nigeria's entertainment industry, combining acting with television presentation.

She has appeared in several popular Nigerian productions, including Shanty Town, Blood Sisters, Omo Ghetto: The Saga and Everybody Loves Jenifa.

Beyond acting, she is also known for hosting The Nancy Isime Show, a programme broadcast on Africa Magic, where she has interviewed personalities from different areas of entertainment and public life.

The latest statement adds a legal dimension to her efforts to ensure that business dealings connected to her name are handled only by authorised representatives.

With celebrities increasingly involved in endorsement agreements, appearances, productions and other commercial partnerships, unauthorised representation can potentially expose both the public figure and prospective clients to financial or contractual disputes.

Nancy's warning therefore serves as a direct instruction to anyone seeking to work with her to confirm the legitimacy of any representative before proceeding with a transaction.

She has also made it clear that individuals who ignore the warning and proceed with unauthorised dealings may face legal consequences.
