Mike Bamiloye’s Agbara Nla is getting additional cinema showtimes following a strong response from audiences since its theatrical release.

Nile Entertainment, which is responsible for distributing the movie in cinemas, announced that more screening opportunities were being arranged to accommodate moviegoers who want to watch the production on the big screen.

The distributor said the response to the film had been encouraging and that efforts were underway to make the movie available at more convenient times and locations. It also advised fans to follow its official social media platforms for information about newly added showtimes.

Agbara Nla officially opened in cinemas on October 1, 2026, after its premiere in Abuja on September 25.

The movie is a modern remake of the 1993 Christian drama of the same name, originally produced by Bamiloye. More than three decades after the first version was released, the story has been adapted for a new generation of viewers.

Bamiloye returns to the role of Isawuru in the remake, maintaining his connection with the original production. His sons, Damilola Mike Bamiloye and Joshua Mike Bamiloye, took charge of directing the new version.

Mount Zion Film Productions produced the project in collaboration with Circuits and Sozo Films, while Nile Entertainment oversees its cinema distribution.

With additional showtimes being introduced, moviegoers who were unable to secure convenient screening times may now have more opportunities to see Agbara Nla in cinemas.
