Nollywood actor Clinton Joshua has taken on a new role in Love and Ruin, a drama centred on family, revenge, hidden secrets and the consequences of digging into the past.

The movie officially premiered on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 6:00 PM and is available to viewers on the Clinton Joshua TV YouTube Channel.

Directed by Chidox, Love and Ruin brings together a cast that includes Clinton Joshua, Nana Yaw Addea, Kelvin Ezike, April Chidinma, Enoch Darkoo, popularly known as Bombshell, Papaya Ex and Ruth Wealth.

The film tells the story of Hannah, a woman who enters a wealthy family with an undisclosed agenda. What initially appears to be an attempt to become part of the family gradually develops into a carefully planned mission driven by a hidden vendetta.

Rather than confronting the family directly, Hannah works her way into their lives and begins to target the relationship between three brothers. Their close bond becomes the centre of her actions as she systematically creates divisions that threaten to change the family forever.

As the brothers begin to face tensions within their once-close relationship, issues buried in the family’s past start coming to light. The emergence of painful secrets adds another layer to the unfolding conflict, forcing members of the family to confront truths they may have preferred to leave behind.

The story therefore moves beyond a simple tale of revenge, exploring how unresolved events from the past can return to affect relationships in the present.

Hannah’s actions also create uncertainty around the family’s future. With trust beginning to break down and long-hidden truths coming to the surface, the characters are forced to deal with the consequences of choices and events that have shaped their lives.

Clinton Joshua leads the cast in the movie, alongside Nana Yaw Addea, Kelvin Ezike, April Chidinma, Enoch Darkoo, Papaya Ex and Ruth Wealth.

The combination of family conflict, revenge and secrets places the characters in situations where relationships are tested and loyalties become increasingly difficult to maintain.

For viewers interested in family-centred Nigerian dramas, Love and Ruin offers a story built around the destructive effect of hidden motives and the danger of allowing painful secrets to remain buried.

The movie’s central character, Hannah, is also key to the tension surrounding the wealthy family. Her decision to infiltrate the household and pursue her vendetta sets the story in motion, while the secrets she uncovers gradually expand the conflict beyond her original intentions.

As the three brothers become increasingly affected by the divisions around them, the family’s history becomes impossible to ignore. The revelations threaten not only individual relationships but the stability of the entire household.

The film also raises questions about revenge and its consequences. Hannah enters the family with a specific purpose, but her actions trigger events that affect several people. What begins as a personal vendetta develops into a wider family crisis as secrets emerge and relationships begin to collapse.

With Chidox behind the camera, Love and Ruin combines an ensemble cast with a storyline focused on family tension and revelations from the past.

The movie is now available for audiences following its official premiere on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 6:00 PM.

Viewers can watch the full movie on the Clinton Joshua TV YouTube Channel and follow Hannah’s journey as her hidden vendetta threatens to destroy a wealthy family from within.
