American R&B singer Kehlani has been confirmed as a co-headliner for the 2026 edition of Coca-Cola Rhythm Unplugged, scheduled to hold in Lagos on December 21.
The singer will share the stage with Atlanta-based rapper Lil Baby at the Eko Convention Centre as part of the annual Detty December celebrations organised by Flytime Promotions.
The upcoming concert will mark Kehlani’s first live performance in Nigeria, bringing the American music star to Lagos for one of the major events on the city’s festive entertainment calendar.
Kehlani announced her participation in a message to fans, expressing excitement about visiting Nigeria and encouraging music lovers to follow updates through the concert’s official website.
“Lagos Nigeria, this one is special, I’d be there on the 21st of December 2026. At the Coca-Cola Rhythm Unplugged. Y’all go to www.therhythmunplugged.com to stay updated,” she said.
“We own the December together with Flytime, I’d see you soon.”
Her announcement has added another international name to the lineup of performers expected to feature in Lagos during the December festivities, a period that attracts music lovers and visitors from different parts of the world.
Kehlani Set For First Nigerian Performance
Born Kehlani Ashley Parrish, the singer first came into the public spotlight as a member of PopLyfe, a teenage pop group that participated in the reality talent competition America’s Got Talent in 2011.
Following her time with the group, she pursued a solo career and established herself in the R&B scene through her music and collaborations with other artistes.
Among her recognised songs are ‘Gangsta’, ‘Nights Like This’, featuring Ty Dolla $ign, and ‘Folded’. Her work has helped her build an international audience and maintain a presence in contemporary R&B.
Her scheduled appearance at Rhythm Unplugged will bring her music to Nigerian fans who will have the opportunity to see her perform live for the first time in the country.
The Lagos concert also comes during an active period in her career, with recent releases and collaborations continuing to keep her in the music conversation.
For fans who have followed her music from abroad, the December performance represents an opportunity to experience her stage presence without travelling outside Nigeria.
Kehlani’s participation is also significant for the event’s international profile, as organisers continue to bring performers from different parts of the world to the annual concert.
Lil Baby Also On The Lineup
Atlanta-based rapper Lil Baby had previously been announced as one of the headliners for the 2026 edition of Rhythm Unplugged.
His inclusion alongside Kehlani brings together two American artistes from different musical backgrounds for the December 21 show.
The concert is part of Flytime Promotions’ annual entertainment programme, which has contributed to Lagos’ busy December calendar through live music events and performances by Nigerian and international acts.
Since its launch in 2004, Rhythm Unplugged has featured performers from both Nigeria and other countries, establishing itself as one of the recurring concerts associated with the festive season.
The event has become part of the entertainment activities that take place in Lagos during Detty December, when concerts and other social events draw audiences seeking live performances and celebrations.
With Kehlani now confirmed as a co-headliner, the 2026 edition will feature an international lineup led by her and Lil Baby.
More Details Expected From Organisers
The concert is scheduled for December 21 at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos. Kehlani has directed fans to the official Rhythm Unplugged website for updates about the event.
Flytime Promotions is expected to provide further information about ticket sales and other arrangements for the concert in subsequent announcements.
For now, the confirmation of Kehlani’s participation has established her upcoming Nigerian debut as one of the notable international performances planned for the festive period.
As the December entertainment season approaches, her appearance alongside Lil Baby adds to the growing list of music events expected to take place in Lagos.
