Nosa Rex Unveils New Movie
Bad and Sweet marks another release from Nosa Rex, who is both the producer and one of the leading actors in the film.
The actor has built a presence in Nollywood through his performances in comedy and drama productions, often bringing humour into stories centred on relationships and everyday situations.
For the new project, he is joined by Chinenye Nnebe, who features as his co-star.
The pairing brings together two familiar faces in the Nigerian film industry for a production that blends romance with comic situations.
The movie’s release also gives fans of both actors an opportunity to watch their latest collaboration through YouTube, where the film is available on two channels.
‘Don’t Judge A Book By Its Cover’
The tagline used to promote Bad and Sweet offers a hint about one of the ideas behind the story.
“Don’t judge a book by its cover” encourages viewers to look beyond appearances before forming opinions about other people. The message provides a fitting introduction to a film promoted around comedy, romance and unexpected situations.
One of the elements highlighted in the promotional material is Nosa Rex’s hilarious portrayal of a character displaying unusual masseuse skills.
The story also features a female police officer, adding another character dynamic to the film’s comic and dramatic elements.
Although detailed information about the plot and the characters’ relationships has not been provided, the promotional material presents the movie as a light-hearted production designed to entertain audiences.
Its combination of romance and comedy places it within a familiar category of Nollywood storytelling, where humour and relationships come together to drive the viewing experience.
Chinenye Nnebe Joins The Cast
Chinenye Nnebe stars alongside Nosa Rex in the new production, adding another prominent performer to the film’s line-up.
Her involvement is one of the key attractions of the project for viewers who follow contemporary Nollywood movies and the work of its actors.
The film’s romantic-comedy approach gives the co-stars an opportunity to feature in a story that incorporates humorous situations alongside its relationship-focused elements.
The presence of a female police officer character and the attention drawn to Nosa Rex’s masseuse skills also provide some of the unusual details used to promote the production.
However, the filmmakers have not provided a full synopsis explaining how these elements connect within the overall story.
Audiences will therefore have to watch the movie to discover how the characters interact and how the narrative develops.
Now Streaming On YouTube
Following its official release on October 20, Bad and Sweet is available on Babarextv and 5 Star Romance TV on YouTube.
Nosa Rex also promoted the release through his official TikTok account, @nosarex, and Instagram page, @babarex0, directing followers towards the film.
The online distribution makes the movie accessible to viewers who prefer watching Nollywood productions on digital platforms rather than waiting for cinema screenings or television broadcasts.
Social media has also become an important channel for filmmakers and actors to announce new projects, share promotional clips and connect directly with their audiences.
Early reactions shared on social platforms have described Bad and Sweet as entertaining, with some viewers praising its romantic-comedy appeal.
A New Romantic Comedy For Nollywood Fans
With its mix of humour, romance and drama, Bad and Sweet offers another option for viewers seeking a light-hearted Nigerian movie.
Nosa Rex’s dual role as producer and star places him at the centre of the project, while Chinenye Nnebe joins him in the cast.
The film’s tagline encourages audiences to look beyond first impressions, while its promotional highlights point to comic situations involving unusual masseuse skills and a female police officer.
