Yoruba filmmaker Afeez Owo has unveiled a new movie, Omo Iya Meta, a family drama centred on love, marriage, betrayal, motherhood, family pressure and a long-hidden secret.
The movie, which premiered on September 26, is showing on OGIDAN TV, giving Yoruba movie lovers an opportunity to experience a story built around complicated family relationships and the consequences of secrets kept for years.

The filmmaking crew featured several professionals across different departments, with Cisse Cinematography handling the first unit and Prince Felix Igwedaniel working on the second unit.
Ayomide Bibire served as assistant project manager, while La Jide worked as script supervisor and Omodasola handled assistant continuity duties.
Star-Studded Cast
The movie features a cast of Yoruba actors, including Mercy Martins, Oyindamola Sanni, Kiki Bakare, Yetunde Barnabas, Sola Olaibi Gaji, Lola Idije, Hannah Olayinka, Azeezat Shorunmu and Kolawole Dre.
Ademola Onitiri, Ogbonna Rachel and other actors also feature in the production.
