Brite Benson has made a bold statement about his financial standing, saying his wealth is on a completely different level from that of popular Nigerian singer Davido.

The singer did not base his argument on fame, music success or the amount of attention either person receives. Instead, he focused on money and how much wealth each person has when it is considered in dollar terms.

For Benson, being wealthy is not necessarily about making sure everyone knows what is in your bank account. He believes a person can have substantial financial resources without constantly putting that wealth on display or using it to gain attention.

That was the point he tried to make while explaining why he believes comparisons between himself and Davido do not accurately reflect the difference in their finances.

Benson claimed that his personal wealth is five times greater than Davido’s, making it clear that he sees the gap as significant when the figures are looked at in dollars.

“I am 5 times richer than Davido, having money is not about always bragging in the limelight. You can’t compare him to me when we are talking in Dollars.”

His comment puts the focus on a different side of wealth that is often difficult for the public to measure. While celebrities and entertainers are frequently judged by their visibility, expensive lifestyles, businesses, cars, properties and other things they choose to show publicly, Benson's argument is that what people see may not necessarily represent the full picture of someone's finances.

That distinction appears to be important to him. Rather than using public displays as proof of financial success, he pointed to dollar value as the basis for his comparison.

Davido, one of Africa's most recognised music stars, has built a major career in the entertainment industry, with music, performances, endorsements and other business interests contributing to his public profile. Benson, however, is saying that public prominence should not automatically be taken as a measure of who has more money.

His statement also separates wealth from the need to constantly show it. In his view, having money does not require someone to make regular public displays of their financial position.

The comparison with Davido is likely to attract attention because of the difference in their levels of public visibility. Davido has spent years in the spotlight and has a huge international audience, while Benson's name is not as widely recognised by the general public.

Still, Benson's claim is specifically about personal wealth, not popularity or career achievements. He is presenting his own financial position as something that should be considered separately from fame and public recognition.
