Geh Geh Tells Burna Boy To Get Rid Of His Billion-Naira Car, Use the Money to Help Hungry Nigerians 🙁

Geh Geh has taken issue with Burna Boy’s decision to spend a huge amount of money on a new luxury car, asking why the singer would put billions of naira into a vehicle when Nigerians are still dealing with hunger and other everyday difficulties.

The social commentator made his position clear while addressing the singer directly. Rather than celebrating the expensive purchase, Geh Geh questioned the usefulness of the car and pointed to the condition of the country, especially the poor state of many roads.

He argued that buying such an expensive vehicle does not make much sense to him when the environment where it would be driven still has major infrastructure problems.

Geh Geh was particularly blunt in his message to Burna Boy, telling him to get someone to take the vehicle away from his compound.

He said:

“Burna Boy, that your car wey you buy eh, call Aboki iron condemn make them come carry that financial mistake wey you buy from your compound. It's a shame. I no believe when I see that video. Call Aboki now. I'm giving 24 hours. That car you buy what benefit is it to me as a Nigerian. You carry billions of Naira go buy car wey no get use to you and the country you come from.

You buy car with Billions of naira for this country wey you dey there's no good road.

This is why some of Una go make money you go think say whether the country better e no better e no concern you. You don go buy car where the road to drive am?.

Nigerians are hungry and you are buying a car.”

For Geh Geh, the issue goes beyond the car itself. He questioned the thinking behind putting such a large amount of money into a luxury item while the wider country continues to face economic pressure.

He also challenged the idea that becoming wealthy should mean completely separating personal spending from the situation around you. In his view, Nigerians who have made significant money should still be conscious of the conditions affecting the people around them.

The condition of Nigerian roads was another major part of his argument. Geh Geh questioned the practicality of owning an extremely expensive vehicle in a place where many roads are still in poor condition.

His comments also touched on the growing gap between those who can afford high-end luxury items and ordinary Nigerians who are struggling with the cost of food and other necessities.

Rather than questioning whether Burna Boy has the financial ability to purchase the vehicle, Geh Geh focused on whether spending that much money on a car was necessary.

He described the purchase as a “financial mistake” and called on Burna Boy to have the vehicle removed, making it clear that he disagreed strongly with the decision.

The central point of Geh Geh’s criticism was simple: he believes spending billions of naira on a luxury car is difficult to justify when Nigerians are hungry and basic infrastructure remains a problem.
