Former Phiilanthropist Puts Car Up For Sale After Losing Source Of Income

A former philanthropist has cried out for help after finding himself in a difficult financial situation that has now left him facing eviction from his home.

The man, who said he once enjoyed a comfortable lifestyle, explained that things changed after he was no longer able to travel to Dubai, where he had been running businesses and earning his income.

According to him, his businesses had been doing well, and travelling between Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates was once a regular part of his life. He said he would often fly business class and had no major concerns about meeting his financial obligations.

However, he said everything changed about three years ago when he could no longer gain entry into the country.

“I used to do very well for myself. I owned businesses in Dubai and flew business class in and out of the country until they said they don't want Nigerians in their country about three years ago.

“I couldn't enter the country, there was no income, and my business was shut down.”

The situation, he explained, meant that the businesses he had depended on could no longer operate as they previously had. With his source of income gone, his financial circumstances gradually became more difficult.

Even as he dealt with his own problems, he said he did not completely stop helping other people. He claimed that he continued to use his online platform to assist people whenever he was able to.

“Despite that, I still come online to help people. Now my landlord has thrown me out of my house because I couldn't pay rent.”

His current situation is a sharp contrast to the life he described having before his businesses were affected. He has now resorted to putting his car up for sale as he tries to raise money and deal with his immediate financial needs.

For someone who once travelled frequently between Nigeria and Dubai and operated businesses there, the circumstances have become a major change in his daily life.

His account also highlights how quickly financial circumstances can change when a person's main source of income is disrupted. What began with being unable to return to the country where he operated his businesses eventually affected his ability to meet basic financial obligations, including rent.

He is now appealing for assistance as he tries to find a way through the difficult period and get back on his feet.
