Controversial street-pop singer Portable has broken his silence following his dramatic exit from the celebrity boxing rematch against Nollywood actor Charles Okocha, insisting that he abandoned the fight because his opponent ignored the rules of boxing.
The singer addressed the controversy in a video shared on his official Instagram page on Saturday, a day after the bout ended in dramatic fashion with officials disqualifying him for leaving the ring before the conclusion of the opening round.
His disqualification handed victory to Okocha, bringing an abrupt end to a contest that had generated significant attention on social media in the days leading up to the event.
Portable Rejects Wrestling Allegation
Reacting to the outcome, Portable claimed the contest stopped being a boxing match almost immediately after it began.
According to him, Charles Okocha abandoned boxing techniques and instead resorted to wrestling tactics, making it impossible for him to continue under what he described as unfair conditions.
The singer alleged that instead of exchanging punches according to the rules, Okocha grabbed and wrestled him during the contest.

He pointed to marks on his back and body, alleging that Okocha bit him while the two were grappling inside the ring.

“They said he eats Molly. He didn’t see Molly anymore. So he ate my back. Man, he bit me. I landed a heavy hit on him,” Portable said.
