Billionaire King Ochacho says he is ready to take another step to make sure there is no confusion over the N400 million house he gave Peller.
The businessman said he plans to sign an affidavit confirming that the property has been given to Peller for life. His decision comes after questions were raised about whether Peller would have full ownership of the house or whether Ochacho’s son could have a claim to part of the property.
Ochacho has now made his position clear. He said the house was given to Peller as a gift and that his son does not own any portion of it.
In his words:
“I say make I bless my younger brother Peller, una come dey vex for me. My son no get half of the house, It has been given to him for life. I’m even going to court so they declare that the house has been given to him for life not temporarily,”
With the affidavit plan, Ochacho wants the arrangement to be properly documented rather than leaving the ownership of the property open to different interpretations.
The N400 million Abuja mansion had earlier been promised to Peller as a gift, and the content creator has since received documents connected to the property. Ochacho's latest move is aimed at giving Peller an added assurance that the house is not something he will have to worry about losing later.
He also rejected the idea that his son owns half of the property. According to him, the decision to give the house to Peller was his own way of blessing someone he considers his younger brother.
Rather than simply repeating the promise, Ochacho now wants the arrangement backed by a legal document. He said he is even prepared to go to court to have it formally recognised as a lifetime gift to Peller.
The move would give Peller a clearer legal position concerning the property and put an end to questions about whether the gift was temporary or permanent.
For Ochacho, the message is straightforward: he gave the N400 million house to Peller, and he wants him to have it for life.
The planned affidavit therefore goes beyond the original promise. It is intended to put the billionaire's assurance on paper and make clear that Peller is the person the house was gifted to.
As preparations continue, Ochacho has indicated that he is willing to take the necessary legal steps to ensure that the N400 million mansion remains Peller’s for life.
