Nollywood is set to round off August with one of its biggest and most anticipated productions of the year. Blending history, action, politics and culture, King Kosoko: The Battle for Lagos promises to deliver a cinematic experience that celebrates one of the most significant chapters in Lagos' history.
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Adebayo Tijani and distributed by FilmOne Entertainment, the historical epic is scheduled to premiere in cinemas nationwide on August 28, 2026.
