“I Don’t Know Anything About Marriage” - Frank Edoho Refuses To Advise Peller And Jarvis

Broadcaster Frank Edoho took a rather different approach when he was called upon to say a few words to content creator Peller and his wife, Jarvis, at their wedding.

While weddings often come with advice from older friends, family members and well-wishers, Edoho decided not to take that route. Instead, he made light of the situation and explained that he would rather share his personal wishes for the couple than give them marriage advice.

Speaking during the ceremony, Edoho questioned the expectation that he should be the one offering lessons on marriage. He jokingly pointed out that he was not in a position to present himself as an authority on the subject.

“I’m not going to give any advice, but what I’m going to give are my wishes instead,” Edoho said.

His response brought a more relaxed feel to the moment. Rather than turning his appearance at the wedding into a serious speech about what the couple should or should not do in their marriage, he kept his message focused on wishing them well.

Edoho then directed his words to Peller, offering him his best wishes as he begins this new chapter with Jarvis.

He wished the content creator “the happiest of life, the best of blessings and the utmost of peace.”

The broadcaster’s decision not to give conventional marriage advice was also consistent with the light-hearted tone of his earlier statement. Instead of presenting a list of rules for a successful marriage, he simply wished the couple happiness, blessings and peace.

For Peller and Jarvis, the occasion marked an important step in their relationship as they celebrated their wedding surrounded by friends, family and other guests.

Edoho’s contribution to the ceremony was brief, but his choice of words stood out. He made it clear that he would rather offer sincere wishes than speak as though he had all the answers about marriage.

“I’m not going to give any advice, but what I’m going to give are my wishes instead,” he repeated in essence through his message to the couple, before directing his good wishes towards Peller.

His final words were simple: a wish for “the happiest of life, the best of blessings and the utmost of peace.”

Rather than attempting to give the newlyweds a serious lecture, Edoho left them with exactly what he said he wanted to give  his wishes for a peaceful and happy life together.
