Grammy-winning Nigerian music star Burna Boy has confirmed plans to return to the iconic London Stadium in 2027, a move that will see him headline the famous venue for a record third time.
The Afrofusion superstar made the announcement after initially teasing fans with a cryptic Instagram post that featured a custom-made 60-carat natural VVS diamond necklace, created to commemorate his previous sold-out performances at the stadium.
He later removed all speculation by confirming the news on his official X account, writing: “So excited for 2027! London Stadium III and much more announcements for y’all.”
The announcement immediately generated excitement among fans, many of whom celebrated another landmark achievement in the singer’s remarkable international career.
Returning To A Historic Venue
The London Stadium, home of Premier League club West Ham United since 2016, has become one of Burna Boy’s most significant performance venues.
The singer first made history in June 2023 when he became the first African artiste to headline and completely sell out the stadium during his Love, Damini Tour.
