After Two Failed Marriages, Frank Edoho Says he will Never Marry Again

Frank Edoho has made it clear that he is not looking to get married again, saying he has found a different kind of happiness in being alone.

The broadcaster made the comment while responding to an X user who shared an opinion about his decision not to give marriage advice to content creator Peller and his wife, Jarvis, during their wedding.

At the wedding, Edoho had chosen not to offer the newlyweds the usual advice that often comes from guests during such occasions. Instead, he said he would simply give them his wishes.m

“I’m not going to give any advice, but what I’m going to give are my wishes instead,” Edoho said at the time.

He went on to wish Peller “the happiest of life, the best of blessings and the utmost of peace.”

Following the ceremony, an X user commented on Edoho’s decision and suggested that his own experiences with marriage could have influenced his choice.

The user argued that Edoho knows enough about marriage and understands how things can go wrong, but may also realise that his previous marital setbacks could make it difficult for Nigerians to take his advice seriously.

The user wrote:

"Is being sincere. He knows a lot about marriage and knows many ways it can fail. However, knowing the psychology of Nigerians, he knows his advice will be marred, in their eyes, by his marital setbacks. Hopefully Frank will find a woman who will show him true love."

Edoho agreed with much of the comment but took issue with the suggestion that he should find another woman.

Rather than expressing a desire to fall in love again or settle down in the future, he said he is comfortable with his current situation and has no intention of looking for another partner.

For Edoho, being alone is not something he appears to see as a problem that needs to be fixed. Instead, he described solitude as something that comes with its own benefits.

His comment is particularly notable given his history of two failed marriages. Rather than suggesting that he is waiting for another opportunity at marriage, the broadcaster appears to have made his position clear: he does not want to pursue another relationship that could lead to marriage.

Edoho’s response also gives some context to the light-hearted way he handled the marriage advice question at Peller and Jarvis’ wedding.

Instead of positioning himself as someone with all the answers about married life, he simply offered the couple his best wishes and allowed them to begin their own journey.

For now, Edoho says he is perfectly comfortable with the life he has chosen.

And if his latest statement is anything to go by, he is not planning to change that decision anytime soon.
