VeryDarkMan has come to the defence of Sam Larry following the music promoter's recent involvement in a fatal road accident that left him hospitalised and claimed the life of one of his bouncers.
The social media personality revealed that he reached out to Sam Larry shortly after the accident and spoke with him about everything that has happened over the past few years. According to VeryDarkMan, the conversation left him feeling disappointed by what he described as the level of hostility that has continued to follow Sam Larry since the death of singer Mohbad.
While sharing his thoughts, VeryDarkMan maintained that Sam Larry has never been found guilty in connection with Mohbad's death. He also pointed out that Sam Larry was reportedly not in Nigeria when the singer died, arguing that many people had already made up their minds about him without waiting for the outcome of the ongoing investigation.
VeryDarkMan also questioned why attention has remained fixed on Sam Larry and Naira Marley while, according to him, people who were around Mohbad before his death have not provided enough answers about what happened.
Sharing his views, he said:
"So I spoke with Sammy Larry 2 days ago and I am really disappointed with the way Nigerians just wanted Sammy Larry to kpai by all means just because of this Mohbad kpai. Sammy Larry wasn't found guilty of Mohbad case, he wasn't even In Nigeria when Mohbad kpai. All the people around Mohbad are still keeping quiet uptil date and they know how Mohbad kpai while some of you are accusing Sammy Larry and Naira Marley. For those that said Sammy Larry bullied Mohbad, where is the video?. Please let's stop been cruel to eachother, 9jas are so cru£l to Sammy Larry, let's face reality on this case of Mohbad."
VeryDarkMan's comments came just days after Sam Larry was discharged from the hospital following treatment for injuries he sustained in the crash. The accident ended in tragedy after one of his bouncers lost his life, while Sam Larry survived and has since resumed appearing in public.
The death of Mohbad in September 2023 remains one of Nigeria's most talked-about entertainment stories. Sam Larry and Naira Marley have both consistently denied any involvement in the singer's death. Although both men have faced intense public criticism over the controversy, no court has found either of them guilty in connection with Mohbad's death, while investigations into the case are still ongoing.
As the investigation continues, VeryDarkMan believes the public should avoid reaching conclusions before the authorities complete their work, insisting that allegations alone should not be treated as proof of guilt.
