Controversial Nigerian street-hop singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has once again sparked controversy after launching a fresh attack on his former girlfriend, Queen Dami, accusing her of seeking sympathy online despite allegedly having relationships with influential men.
The outspoken singer made the remarks in a now-deleted post shared via his Instagram Story, where he criticised Queen Dami over a video in which she reportedly spoke about her relationship struggles.
According to Portable, he recently came across a clip showing his former partner lamenting that she had not found a serious man who would take proper care of her. Reacting to the video, the singer claimed Queen Dami had failed to build a stable life for herself despite being linked to several prominent men.
He alleged that she continues to rely on gifts and financial assistance from others instead of becoming financially independent.
“I saw where my ex was crying online, saying she has not found a serious man who will keep her in his house again. I only tried to help improve your life because you were my side partner. You didn’t have a child for me, so remove my name from yours,” Portable wrote.
The singer also used the opportunity to reaffirm his commitment to his current wife, insisting that his marriage remains intact despite ongoing speculation surrounding his personal life.
“My wife is in my house. You left the Alaafin’s palace, dated all the big men online, yet you still don’t have a car. Instead, you’re always begging people for gifts online. Why aren’t you ashamed?” he added.
Portable further alleged that Queen Dami has continued to speak positively about him despite their separation, claiming she still refers to him as a good person.
He maintained that he has supported her even after their relationship ended, alleging that he has continued assisting with the welfare of her son.
“She keeps calling my name, saying I’m a good person. I wasn’t a bad person before. Even now, I still help her take care of the son she had while she was in the Alaafin’s palace.
“She still calls asking for food money even though she is no longer under me,” he claimed.
Although Portable eventually deleted the post, screenshots and recordings quickly circulated across social media, triggering widespread debate among fans.
While some social media users criticised the singer for publicly discussing his former partner’s personal affairs, others argued that the latest exchange reflects the turbulent nature of their relationship, which frequently played out online during the period they dated.
