Social media personality Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has responded to ongoing rumours suggesting that his fiancée, Jarvis, is pregnant.
The speculation began circulating online in recent weeks after fans and followers began analysing the couple’s videos and photos, with some users claiming that Jarvis appeared to have a noticeable baby bump. The conversation intensified after a recent clip of the pair shopping for asoebi fabric for their upcoming wedding made the rounds on social media.
Despite the growing chatter, the couple has firmly dismissed the claims during a livestream, insisting that there is no truth to the pregnancy rumours.
Social Media Speculation Sparks Debate
The pregnancy speculation appears to have gained momentum largely from online interpretation of visual content shared by the couple. Some users pointed to Jarvis’ appearance in certain clips, suggesting that she may be expecting a child.
Others tied the rumours to the couple’s recent public engagements, especially their increasing preparations for marriage, which include discussions around asoebi materials and traditional rites.

“I’m vexed that people are saying you’re pregnant. Can a pregnant woman cook at this time? I will get her pregnant, but right now, I’m still making a token for myself.”
He further explained that he wants to reach a much higher level of financial success before considering fatherhood.
“I have to be making billions before thinking about pregnancy. Don’t put any pregnancy on my head. It’s late-night food that’s causing that big stomach.”
His comments, though delivered in a humorous tone, reflect a broader discussion among young couples about timing, financial readiness, and family planning.
Engagement and Growing Public Interest
Peller and Jarvis have remained one of the most talked-about young celebrity couples in Nigeria’s digital entertainment space.

According to him, four yards of fabric would cost N350,000, eight yards would go for N700,000, while twelve yards has been set at N1 million.
