NdaniTV has expanded its catalogue of original productions with the release of “Extra Love,” a 10-episode limited series that offers a fresh perspective on life behind the glamour of Nollywood. Rather than focusing on celebrities or blockbuster productions, the series shines a light on the everyday struggles of background actors who work tirelessly in pursuit of their big break.
The story revolves around Wudi and Azi, two aspiring performers determined to build successful acting careers despite the many obstacles they face.
From endless auditions to irregular jobs and financial uncertainty, the pair navigate the realities of an industry where talent alone is often not enough to guarantee success.
Along the way, the series also explores their relationship, blending romance, humour and emotional moments into an engaging narrative.
Produced by Lani Aisida and directed by Nwamaka Chikezie, the drama features a talented ensemble cast including Toluwani George, Mallum Arik, Omosalewa Fafowora, Kanaga Eme Jnr, Bryan Okoye, Chioma Nwosu, Oluwatobiloba "Oli Ekun" Olubiyi and Obehi Aburime.
