Mr Macaroni is preparing to take a major step in his acting career as the Nigerian entertainer gets set to make his stage debut in the United Kingdom.

The actor, comedian and content creator will feature in the historical drama "55 Days," where he has been cast as Lord Fairfax, one of the key figures in English history.

The production will be staged at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London from July 15 to July 18, 2026.

The academy is widely recognised for producing talented performers and theatre professionals, making the opportunity another important milestone in Mr Macaroni's growing career.

Known offstage as Debo Adedayo, the entertainer has built a reputation through comedy skits, film roles and his outspoken advocacy on social issues.

While millions know him for his humorous online content, this latest role will allow audiences to see a different side of his talent as he embraces a demanding theatrical performance.

The play, written by renowned British playwright Howard Brenton, explores the tense political events leading to the execution of King Charles I in 1649. It focuses on the struggles, debates and decisions that shaped one of the most significant moments in British history.

Mr Macaroni will portray Lord Fairfax, a respected military commander whose role was central to the unfolding events during that period.

The production forms part of the postgraduate performance showcase at Mountview, where Adedayo is currently furthering his training in acting.

Appearing in the academy's flagship production reflects the confidence placed in his abilities as he continues to develop his craft on the international stage.

Over the years, Mr Macaroni has successfully transitioned from creating short comedy videos to becoming one of Nollywood's most recognisable actors.

His performances in films and television productions have earned praise from audiences, while his commitment to professional growth has remained evident through continuous training and new creative challenges.

His move into theatre is expected to broaden his acting experience, as stage performances demand a different level of preparation, discipline and audience engagement compared to film and digital productions.

Performing before a live audience also presents an opportunity to showcase his versatility beyond the comic characters that first brought him fame.

Fans in London are expected to turn out in support of the Nigerian entertainer during the four-day production. Many see the performance as another proud moment for Nigeria's creative industry, highlighting the increasing presence of Nigerian actors in international theatre and film.

For Mr Macaroni, the role represents more than just another acting credit. It marks a significant chapter in his artistic journey, demonstrating his willingness to embrace new challenges and expand his career beyond the borders of Nigeria.

His appearance in "55 Days" is expected to further strengthen his reputation as one of the country's most versatile and ambitious performers.
