What started as what many expected to be an ordinary live session quickly turned into a painful family confrontation after DJ Chicken publicly rejected his daughter during an emotional exchange.
The young woman appeared on the live video hoping to reconnect with her father, but instead found herself being pushed away in front of viewers. Her first words reflected her desperation to maintain whatever relationship they still had.
"Please don't unfollow me Daddy," she pleaded.
Rather than responding with affection, DJ Chicken immediately distanced himself from her.
"I am not your father. Go and ask your mother who your father is."
His daughter refused to back down. She insisted there was no doubt about who her father was, pointing to the similarities she believes they both share.
"You are my father. Look at the mark on your face, your nose and ears, they are exactly like mine.!"
Despite her insistence, DJ Chicken remained firm. He shifted the conversation to a period when he was locked up at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre, accusing her of celebrating while he was going through one of the most difficult moments of his life.
"I was inside Kirikiri prison and you were dancing on TikTok," he said.
His daughter tried to explain that her actions were never meant to disrespect him. According to her, she had actually used her social media platform to campaign for his release.
"But I helped in freeing you from prison. I did a TikTok video and gave them an ultimatum of 5 days to release you."
Her explanation did little to soften his stance.
"I was in prison and you were doing birthday, you shall never know peace."
As the conversation continued, DJ Chicken began speaking about his past relationship with the young woman's mother. He claimed they had only been together once before she became pregnant.
"You can ask your mother, I only slept with her just once and she was a teacher and a vtrgin when I sl£pt with her."
He then made an even more surprising claim, saying he had looked forward to welcoming a son but abandoned the child after discovering the baby was a girl.
"When we gave birth to you the doctor said you were a boy. When I got to the ward I saw that you changed to a girl and I refused to carry you."
According to him, the expectation throughout the pregnancy was that a baby boy would be born, making the moment he arrived at the hospital disappointing in his eyes.
"Ask your mom, she was a teacher. When she was in labor she said she was going to give birth to a baby boy. I was so happy but when I got there I saw a baby girl, that's why I ran away."
DJ Chicken was recently remanded at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre after he was arraigned before a Magistrate Court in Ogba, Lagos, over allegations bordering on cyberbullying, making thr.eat targeted at President's son, Seyi Tinubu. A conduct which is likely to cause a breach of public peace. He was later granted bail and released after meeting the conditions set by the court.
His time in custody became a major part of the emotional exchange with his daughter, as he repeatedly accused her of celebrating her birthday while he was behind bars.
