She noted that no matter how genuine a person may be, others may still judge them based on assumptions, rumours, or misinformation.

The actress also suggested that some people intentionally damage another person's reputation because they are unable to manipulate, control, or take advantage of them.

 She observed that false stories can spread quickly and, when repeated often enough, may begin to appear believable even if they are completely untrue.

According to Gomez, such situations can be painful because they have the potential to undermine years of hard work and effort. She pointed out that many people form opinions about others without ever having a personal interaction with them, choosing instead to rely on hearsay.

Despite acknowledging the emotional toll that false narratives can have, the actress encouraged people not to lose sight of their identity or self-worth.

 She stressed that while it is impossible to control every story or opinion circulating about oneself, it is important to remain confident in one's values and character.

Gomez urged her followers to focus on living authentically instead of seeking validation from everyone around them.
