Yul Edochie has dismissed allegations linking him to the breakup of another man’s marriage, describing the claims as false and part of a deliberate effort to tarnish his image.
The actor made the remarks while addressing recent accusations surrounding his relationship with Judy Austin. His comments come amid continued public discussions over claims made by Emmanuel Obasi, Judy Austin’s former husband, regarding the circumstances that led to the end of their marriage.
In a lengthy statement, Edochie said he has faced numerous accusations over the past four years, but maintained that none of them had succeeded in damaging his reputation. According to him, the latest allegation being circulated is that he took another man’s wife, a claim he strongly denied.
“My aura gives my enemies sleepless nights. In the last 4yrs they’ve told all sorts of lies against me and they all failed. Now their latest lie is that I took another man’s wife. A man who left his wife in 2013, married another woman and moved on.
Nobody heard his voice on social media.
Years after he sees the ex wife is now doing well, he comes back to attach himself to her and say his wife was taken from him. All these coordinated lies just to bring me down. I laugh!”
The actor argued that the narrative being presented does not reflect the true sequence of events. He suggested that the allegations resurfaced only after attention returned to his personal life and relationship with Judy Austin.
Beyond addressing the accusations, Edochie also spoke about his resilience in the face of criticism. He said repeated attacks against him have failed because he draws strength from his faith and remains convinced that his life is guided by divine grace.
Yul-Edochie wrote:
“If only they know the stuff I’m made of.
I’m a rock. No mortal or spirit can bring me down. They can’t understand why my light is still shining bright. They can’t understand why I’m still standing strong, they can’t understand why my fans still love me. It’s called GRACE. I have God’s grace. Humans give birth but God chooses. I’m a chosen one. A Lion. A King.”
Edochie went further, describing himself as someone destined for greatness and insisting that he remains undeterred by opposition. He portrayed himself as a strong and enduring figure whose position cannot be shaken by criticism or controversy.
“I am unstoppable. I’m a man after God’s heart. Kings are not made, Kings are born.
I am the great King of our time.
ISI MMILI JI OFOR. EZEDIKE 1 of Nteje. OKALA Mmadu OKALA Mmuo. THE KING OF WISDOM.”
The actor concluded his statement with a Father's Day message, extending goodwill to fathers around the world while offering prayers for continued strength and progress.
“Happy Father’s Day to me and to all great fathers all over the world. May we keep powering, Amen.”
His remarks mark his latest response to allegations surrounding his personal life, as he continues to insist that claims linking him to the collapse of another man’s marriage are untrue.
