Nollywood actor Zubby Michael has celebrated a major box office achievement after his latest film, Call of My Life, crossed the ₦500 million mark in earnings across West African cinemas.
The actor took to Instagram to share the exciting milestone, posting a promotional flyer highlighting the film’s strong commercial performance.
According to the update, the movie has maintained its dominance at the box office, topping weekend earnings for several consecutive weeks and continuing its run in cinemas nationwide.
Call of My Life has enjoyed impressive momentum since its release on May 15, opening with over ₦78 million in its first weekend.
The film quickly gained traction among movie lovers, outperforming several local and international titles in its opening phase and establishing itself as one of the standout Nollywood releases of 2026.
Directed by Dammy Twitch in his feature film debut and produced by Blessing Uzzi under Bluhouse Studios, the film explores a romantic and emotional storyline centred on Soluchi, played by Uzoamaka Onuoha, who is forced to rebuild her life after a painful breakup.
Her journey takes a new turn when a work-related phone call introduces her to a new love interest, Eli, played by Andrew Yaw Bunting.
The screenplay, written by Uzoamaka Onuoha, also features a strong supporting cast including Nkem Owoh, Patience Ozokwor, Beverly Osu, Broda Shaggi, and Justin UG, adding depth and star power to the production.
Before hitting the ₦500 million milestone, the film had already set records as one of the fastest-rising Nollywood romance titles of the year, recording consistent week-on-week growth and securing a place among the industry’s highest earners.
With its latest earnings now surpassing ₦524 million, Call of My Life continues to solidify its reputation as one of Nollywood’s most successful box office stories in recent years.
