Helen Atti has once again publicly challenged Cubana Chief Priest, whose real name is Pascal Okechukwu, to bring an end to their long-running paternity dispute by paying for her flight to Nigeria so they can carry out a DNA test.
In a strongly worded statement, Helen said she is willing to travel from Kenya to Nigeria if the celebrity businessman books her ticket or sends her the money for the trip. She argued that she was making the offer because Cubana Chief Priest has repeatedly declined to travel to Kenya for the test despite the matter already being before the court.
Appealing directly to him, she said:
"I'm taking this opportunity to appeal to my baby's father. Since you're refusing to come to Kenya for the DNA test, I challenge you, Pascal. Send me the money for a ticket so I can come to Nigeria and do the DNA test.
"You will have your own hospital, and I will have mine. We want to know who will be proven wrong because you have refused to come to Kenya to do the DNA test. You have also refused to comply with the court, even though this matter is already before the court.
"As for the first case you filed against me, you're now begging to settle it out of court. I will never agree. So, I'm challenging you, Pascal. I am ready to come to Nigeria. Pay for my ticket or book my flight, and I will come to Nigeria to do the DNA test because I will never be afraid of you."
Helen also insisted that her decision to speak out has nothing to do with fame or money. According to her, she simply wants the paternity issue resolved so that her child gets the recognition and support she believes he deserves.
She continued:
"You are the father of my child, and we had this child together. You cannot leave me to struggle with this child alone. I was living my life when you pursued me. You begged for the relationship.
"I would never come out and lie about something like this. You are not the only celebrity in Nigeria, and you are not the only wealthy person there. There are many rich people in Nigeria.
"Many people have been dragging me, claiming that I went after this man because of money. But I'm sorry to disappoint you I didn't know who Pascal was before I met him. He hid his identity because he knew that if I found out who he was, I would discover that he was married.
"But I don't care. You can judge me as much as you want because I'm not Jesus. I'm a human being, just like you.
"What I'm fighting for right now is my child's right. You cannot neglect my child and expect him to come and take care of you when you're old. That will never happen, Pascal.
"So, I'm telling you again: I challenge you. Send me the money or book my flight so I can come to Nigeria and settle this with a DNA test."
The paternity dispute between Helen Atti and Cubana Chief Priest has remained in the public eye for several months, with both parties making different claims while legal proceedings continue. Helen's latest statement makes it clear that she is still pushing for a DNA test, saying she is ready to travel to Nigeria if the businessman agrees to fund the trip.
