Actress Annie Macaulay has publicly expressed confusion after finding herself at the center of criticism for congratulating celebrity stylist Luminee on the arrival of her newborn child.

"what’s going on guys... saw her post on my TL about just having a baby n dropped a heart as congrats! I’m I missing something? What did I do wrong ? Cos I’m genuinely lost o ... why d plenty insults guys ? I honestly do not know anything at all about her personal life ,beyond d fact that she made d pretty dress I wore to affirma 😔 Pls can someone enlighten me ? Cos I truly do not know or have any idea what’s up!"
Annie made it clear that her interaction with Luminee was based solely on a previous business relationship. According to her, the stylist had designed a beautiful outfit for her months earlier, leaving her with a positive impression.
She further emphasized her lack of knowledge about the issues surrounding Luminee, stating that she had no involvement in or awareness of the stylist's private affairs.
The backlash against Luminee stems from public criticism that followed news of her welcoming a child with a Yoruba actor who was previously convicted as a sex offender. The revelation sparked strong reactions from some members of the public, many of whom voiced disappointment over the relationship.
