Phyna Plans First Child Via Surrogacy

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Phyna has opened up about her plans for the coming months and the early part of next year, sharing that her priorities have shifted toward starting a family and building financial stability.

According to her, she is now focused on making enough money to support her goal of having her first child. She explained that she does not intend to carry a pregnancy herself and has chosen surrogacy as the method she will use to become a mother.

She made it clear that her decision is intentional and not something she is uncertain about. Phyna emphasized that her attention is now on preparing for that stage of her life while continuing to work toward her financial goals.

She also reflected on how her perspective has changed over time. In the past, she had mentioned that she could live comfortably without having children and had even spoken about being satisfied with caring for pets instead. However, she now says that her feelings about motherhood have changed and she wants to experience having a child of her own.

In her words, she stated:

“My Goal for the Rest of the Year and Early next Year is me focusing on making money for having my first child, I'm not getting pregnant myself, no way because I’m doing it through surrogate. I earlier said i wanted to be cat and dogs mother but i have changed my mind again,  i want to have my real child”.

Her statement shows a shift in direction from her earlier outlook. Rather than focusing on pets as companions, she now sees herself taking steps toward parenthood through surrogacy, while also ensuring she is financially prepared for the responsibilities that come with raising a child.

Phyna also stressed the importance of financial readiness in her plan. She explained that her current focus is on building income and stability so that when the time comes, she can fully support her child without struggle. For her, this stage is about preparation and setting the foundation for the future she wants.

The reality star’s comments have drawn attention because they reflect both a personal and intentional decision about motherhood. It also shows how her views have evolved over time, moving from a casual approach about not having children to a more defined plan of becoming a parent.

For now, Phyna says her attention remains on working and achieving her financial targets, while keeping her long-term goal of motherhood in clear view.
