Nollywood actor Musa Ibrahim has opened up about the lasting impact of his role in the 2007 horror film 666, revealing that the experience had a serious effect on his personal life after production ended.

In a recent interview with content creator Lucky Udu, the actor claimed that the film was far beyond a regular acting job and suggested that it came with consequences he did not anticipate. According to him, the project left a deep mark on his health and overall well-being.

Musa explained that shortly after filming wrapped, his life took a difficult turn. He recounted being involved in a serious accident that led to extended hospitalisation, saying he spent close to two years receiving medical treatment and recovery care. He described the period as one of the most challenging phases of his life.

The actor suggested that the timing of the incident made him reflect deeply on the nature of the role he played in the movie.

He implied that the spiritual and horror-themed storyline of the production may have had lingering effects beyond what audiences see on screen.

He further noted that actors often experience realities that viewers do not fully understand, especially when working on films that explore supernatural or religious themes.

According to him, such roles can sometimes carry emotional and psychological weight that extends beyond acting.

The film 666 (Beware the End Is at Hand), released in 2007 and directed by Ugo Ugbor under Global Update Pictures, is a Nigerian horror production centered on apocalyptic and spiritual themes.

It featured a notable cast including Clem Ohameze, Kenneth Okonkwo, Emeka Ani, and others, alongside Musa Ibrahim.

Over the years, the film has remained one of Nollywood’s early attempts at horror storytelling, gaining attention for its dark themes and dramatic performances.
