Award-winning Nigerian singer and record label boss Kizz Daniel has announced a fresh recruitment exercise aimed at restructuring and strengthening his music label, Flyboy INC.
The Afrobeats star made the announcement through his official X account on Sunday, revealing that the label is searching for young and creative professionals to fill several strategic positions within the organisation.
According to the singer, the available roles include label manager, artiste manager, A&R and creative lead, marketing and public relations lead, social media and content manager, as well as an accountant.
“Available roles: Label manager, artist manager, A&R / creative lead, marketing & PR lead, social media/content manager, accountant,” he wrote.
The announcement immediately sparked reactions online, with many music enthusiasts and aspiring entertainment executives expressing interest in joining the label.
Kizz Daniel explained that the hiring process forms part of ongoing efforts to rebuild and reposition Flyboy INC for a new phase of growth in the highly competitive Nigerian music industry.
In another post, the singer revealed that the opportunities are specifically targeted at young individuals, stressing that applicants must fall within a certain age bracket.
“Not older than 27, not younger than 18. Like Kanye once said ‘I only take advice from younger people,’” he stated.
The singer also directed interested applicants to popular talent manager Ubi Franklin, asking candidates to reach out to him through X for further engagement and possible screening.
The recruitment move has generated conversations across social media, with fans praising the artiste for creating opportunities for young Nigerians within the entertainment industry.
Some users also described the development as a smart move, noting that the music business now requires strong management structures, digital strategy, branding and creative direction beyond just making hit songs.
Born Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, Kizz Daniel became one of Nigeria’s biggest music stars after releasing his breakout single Woju in 2015. The song quickly gained popularity and established him as one of the leading voices in Afrobeats.
Following the success of Woju, the singer delivered several hit songs including Mama, Yeba, One Ticket, Buga, Cough (Odo), Twe Twe and Marhaba, earning both local and international recognition.
Before launching Flyboy INC, Kizz Daniel was signed to G-Worldwide Entertainment in 2013. However, his relationship with the label later became controversial following a contract dispute that eventually led to his exit from the company.
The dispute also resulted in a legal battle over the use of his former stage name, Kiss Daniel, before he eventually rebranded to Kizz Daniel and moved forward with his independent label.
He officially launched Flyboy INC in 2017 as part of his efforts to gain greater creative freedom and business control over his music career.
Over the years, the label has gone through multiple structural changes, including adjustments in management and collaborations with different artistes and creatives.
Industry observers believe the latest recruitment exercise may signal a fresh expansion strategy for Flyboy INC as Kizz Daniel continues to strengthen his influence in the African music scene.
The singer remains one of the most commercially successful artistes in Nigeria, with several chart-topping projects and sold-out performances across Africa, Europe and North America.
