The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry, Chibuzor Chinyere, has sparked widespread conversation after announcing plans to find a husband for his 21-year-old adopted daughter, who is living with Autism.

In a post shared on social media, the cleric introduced the young woman, identified as Chiemeka Chibuzor, while outlining specific requirements for any man interested in marrying her. According to him, the decision is driven by a desire to ensure her long-term care, safety, and overall well-being.

Chinyere explained that although his daughter lives with autism, she is able to communicate effectively and functions independently in several areas of daily life. He emphasised that the goal of the arrangement is to provide her with a stable and supportive environment where she can thrive.

“I am giving out another of my adopted daughters in marriage. Her name is Chiemeka Chibuzor. She is 21 years old and lives with autism, although she can speak and hear well,” he stated.

The pastor also outlined conditions for potential suitors, stressing that anyone interested must be young and in good physical and mental health. He noted that the chosen partner would receive significant support aimed at making the union sustainable and beneficial for both individuals.

Among the incentives listed are lifetime financial support, a free house, and a jointly owned property that will be built in the names of both partners. In addition, Chinyere revealed that there would be periodic, unannounced visits by church representatives to monitor the welfare of his daughter and ensure she is being properly cared for.

“The man who wishes to marry her must be a young individual who is physically and mentally fit in all respects. The arrangement comes with several benefits, including lifetime financial support, a free house for life, and a home built in the names of both partners,” he said.

He further added that the supervision aspect of the arrangement is crucial, as it would serve as a safeguard to protect his daughter and guarantee that she is treated with dignity and respect within the marriage.

“This arrangement is aimed at ensuring that she is properly cared for, protected, and able to live a happy and fulfilling life,” he explained.

The announcement has drawn mixed reactions online, with some praising the pastor’s efforts to secure a stable future for his daughter, while others have raised concerns about the structure and public nature of the arrangement.

This is not the first time Chinyere has undertaken such an initiative. The development follows a similar arrangement he recently facilitated for his adopted son, identified as Aboy, who got married under a structured support system. That arrangement also included financial assistance and long-term incentives designed to help the couple build a stable life together.

Over the years, the Omega Power Ministry has been involved in various charitable and social welfare activities, including support for vulnerable individuals and families. Chinyere, in particular, has gained attention for adopting children and providing them with care, education, and opportunities for a better future.

By extending this support into adulthood through marriage arrangements, the cleric appears to be exploring unconventional ways to ensure the long-term welfare of those under his care.

As discussions continue, the announcement has once again highlighted broader conversations around caregiving, independence, and the societal support systems available for individuals living with developmental conditions.
