Veteran Nollywood actress Fausat Balogun, popularly known as Madam Saje, has stepped in to resolve the ongoing tension involving Toyin Abraham, Funke Akindele and Iyabo Ojo.
The development follows a viral incident that sparked controversy after Funke appeared to snub Toyin at Iyabo Ojo’s movie premiere, a moment that triggered widespread reactions among fans and industry observers.
In the midst of the backlash, Iyabo Ojo was also accused of siding with Funke, while she later explained that the tension was linked to earlier disagreements, including Toyin Abraham’s public outburst in December, which she said disrupted a prior peace understanding between the parties.
Amid the growing drama, Madam Saje intervened and confirmed that she had successfully reconciled the trio.
Speaking in a video that has since gone viral, she said, “I have taken up the matter since yesterday. I’ve resolved it and ordered them to take it off social media. I made them realise that their matter should no longer be discussed on social media again.”
Her intervention has been widely welcomed, with many expressing hope that the reconciliation will bring an end to the public exchanges and restore harmony within the industry.
