Olakunle Churchill has stepped forward to firmly shut down growing online conversations suggesting that his relationship with Rosy Meurer has ended in divorce, describing the claims as inaccurate, misleading, and detached from reality.

The businessman chose to address the issue directly through a detailed Instagram post titled “FALSE DIVORCE CLAIMS AND PUBLIC MISINFORMATION,” where he expressed concern over how quickly unverified information spreads across social media platforms and is accepted as fact.

At the centre of his clarification was a strong rejection of the divorce narrative that has been circulating widely. He stated clearly: “The reports circulating online about a supposed divorce between myself and Roseline Meurer are completely false. There is no truth to them, and they should be treated as such.” His statement was aimed at drawing a line between speculation and factual reality, insisting that nothing of the sort has taken place.

Churchill went further to explain the nature of his relationship with Meurer, stressing that it has often been misunderstood or misrepresented publicly. According to him, the foundation of their union was never a formal legal marriage. He stated explicitly: “There was no legally recognised marriage. There was no church wedding and no court wedding. What took place was an introduction.” This clarification, he implied, makes any talk of divorce legally and logically baseless.

He also questioned the authenticity of claims suggesting that divorce proceedings were ongoing or had been completed without his awareness. Expressing disbelief, he remarked: “I was never served. So I ask a simple question: what exactly is being presented to the public, and how was it obtained?” His tone suggested concern over how documents or narratives of such seriousness could circulate without proper verification.

Churchill also addressed what he believes is misinformation being driven by individuals influencing public perception behind the scenes. He said: “I am 100% sure that individuals without proper experience in the media space are advising Rosy incorrectly… claiming to produce divorce documents within 24 hours.” He further questioned the timelines being shared online, implying they do not align with standard legal procedures.

Beyond his current relationship, Churchill briefly reflected on his past with Tonto Dikeh, noting that they have both moved on from past disagreements. He explained: “If Tonto offended anyone, it should be me alone… we have both chosen to forgive each other.” He added that revisiting old personal matters in public discussions only fuels unnecessary controversy.

He also addressed perceptions surrounding Meurer’s role in his life, pushing back against what he sees as overstated narratives. In his words: “I do not agree that Rosy ‘stood by me’ in a way that should now be exaggerated.”

Overall, Churchill’s statement reflects an attempt to separate fact from speculation while urging caution over unverified stories circulating online about his private life.
