Nollywood actress Ronke Odusanya has shared a moving experience on the Ibadan-Oyo Expressway that highlighted the presence of kindness in society.
The actress revealed that she was on her way to Ibrahim Chatta’s film village to participate in a movie production by Damilola Oni when she encountered a problem with her car. One of the bolts on her tyre came loose, causing the vehicle to shake and make unsettling noises.
Facing the stressful situation with her daughter alone in the car, Odusanya described how she found help unexpectedly.
“I had issues with my car on the Ibadan-Oyo Express. One bolt went off, and my car was shaking and making noise. I met these three daddies on the way. They drove past me and returned to find out what the problem was.
Help me say thank you to them. My daughter and I were the only ones in the car, and we started crying. Guys, it was a hell of a thing today, but we thank God. Thank God for grace and safety. I am on my way to Ibrahim Chatta film village.”
Her brother, who she called for assistance, also joined in helping to resolve the issue. The gesture by the three men left a lasting impression on the actress, who took time to reflect on the value of compassion and goodwill. “I thank God for His grace. We still have good people in Nigeria. Angel in human form. May the name of the Lord be praised,” she added.
The incident serves as a powerful reminder that even small acts of kindness can make a significant difference, especially in unexpected or challenging situations.
For Odusanya, what could have been a distressing experience turned into a reaffirmation of faith in humanity.
Her story encourages people to notice and appreciate the efforts of others who step forward to help in moments of need.
