So here’s the scene: Seyi Tinubu steps up and tells Nigerians, “Trust my father, President Tinubu, he’s doing it right.”
But then comes Isaac Fayose, and he doesn’t hold back. Looking straight at Seyi, he fires:
"Thank you for having faith in my father, President Tinubu! Seyi, we don't have any faith in your father. Your father is ruling us with force."
Fayose doesn’t stop there. He paints a picture of what life feels like for everyday Nigerians right now.
"Petrol prices have increased and very soon the way prices of things will skyrocket will shock everyone."
And then he goes even deeper into the frustrations people are feeling:
"People are being k!lled everyday. Petrol is going to N2000/litre. You have forced everyone to join your party and you still want to force yourself on us in 2027. I believe God will set Nigeria free."
Finally, he leaves no room for sugarcoating:
"President Tinubu is the worst president ever in Nigeria."
This back-and-forth shows just how heated the conversation around Nigeria’s leadership has become.
Fayose is making it clear: Seyi’s trust in his father doesn’t reflect the reality many Nigerians are facing
from skyrocketing petrol prices to rising insecurity and political pressure.
