Nigerian street-hop singer Portable has publicly expressed frustration after claiming that his children were not allowed to celebrate the recent Eid festivities with him.
The controversial artiste took to Instagram to air his grievances, alleging that his baby mamas deliberately kept the children away during the Eid al-Fitr celebration. According to him, none of his kids were brought to his home to mark the occasion, a situation that left him visibly upset.
In his reaction, Portable issued a stern warning while invoking traditional beliefs, stating that those responsible would face consequences.
“Zazu Zeh
To those baby mamas wey born pikin for me wey no carry my pikin come Ile odun to celebrate with me.
Na Ogun oni Tigbo go scatter una.
Anyhow, he be my pikin go still ask for him, papa.
Respect month don go kala zero pa. Use your wisdom waka. Zazuu I no send una papa,” he wrote.
Despite his anger, the singer maintained that his connection with his children remains unbroken. He expressed confidence that, regardless of the current situation, the children would eventually seek him out as their father.
Portable also hinted that he would no longer tolerate certain behaviours, suggesting that his patience had run out and urging the mothers of his children to be more considerate moving forward.
The singer, known for his outspoken personality and frequent social media outbursts, is married to Bewaji, with whom he shares two children. In addition, he has four other children from previous relationships, including one with Keji and two with Nollywood actress Ashabi. His first baby mama has not been publicly identified.
Portable’s latest outburst has since sparked conversations online, with fans reacting to his claims and debating the complexities of co-parenting, especially among public figures.
