Actor and content creator Kamo State recently opened up about a personal experience that forced him to step away from the public eye, sharing how a recent disappointment led him to isolate himself for three days.

“Recently, I faced a deep disappointment. It was a turning point, reinforcing my trust in God rather than in people.
The pain was overwhelming, and I withdrew for three days, which is unlike me,” he wrote. During this time, he found solace in gospel music, particularly the songs of BBO and Grace Idowu.
Yet, despite the comfort from music, he admitted that he struggled to pray, spending much of his time in tears and questioning humanity, reflecting on the sacrifices he had made.
Kamo State emphasized that the experience helped him learn valuable lessons about faith, patience, and forgiveness. He referenced Proverbs 3:5-6 as a reminder of the importance of trusting God in every situation, and he revealed that he had forgiven the person responsible for the disappointment.
“Forgiveness is key to receiving blessings,” he noted, highlighting that holding onto anger or resentment would only hinder his growth.
The period of self-reflection also renewed his confidence in himself, his dreams, and his career. Kamo State acknowledged that many creatives often present a strong image online while dealing with personal struggles behind the scenes. He shared that this challenging moment reminded him to stay focused and fearless, especially as he continues to build his career.
Celebrating a recent milestone, he mentioned reaching one million organic followers on Instagram, attributing this achievement to God’s faithfulness.
“God will wipe my tears, rewrite my story, and ensure I am not mocked or shamed. This is a new chapter a chapter of God’s takeover. Watch this space!” he added.
