A wave of reactions has followed a viral video in which a former member of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement (TLCCRM) made bold allegations about the church’s General Overseer, Pastor Lazarus Muoka.
At the center of her claims is an alleged third marriage she says was conducted quietly, away from public scrutiny.
Rather than presenting her concerns as mere speculation, the woman spoke candidly about what she believes is a deliberate pattern.
According to her, the pastor prefers to keep his weddings private to avoid interruptions especially from individuals who might object during the ceremony. Her remarks suggest that the secrecy surrounding such events is intentional.
“Congratulations to our pastor on marrying his third wife. I understand why he keeps it secret, so that admirers like us won’t speak up if asked whether anyone has objections. If I had been there that day, I would have raised my hand,” she said.
Beyond the secrecy, the ex-member also questioned the type of women the TLCCRM leader chooses to marry.
She claimed that those who are visibly devoted within the church are often overlooked. Instead, she alleged that the pastor’s latest wife is an American citizen who recently returned from abroad drawing a comparison to his late wife.
"One interesting thing is that he didn’t marry the women who are always rolling on the floor in worship. The woman he married is an American citizen, just like his late wife,” she added.
Another issue she highlighted is the timing of the reported marriage. She pointed out that the union allegedly took place less than two years after the passing of the pastor’s previous wife, raising questions in her mind about how quickly events unfolded.
Her statements have since fueled widespread discussion online, with many weighing in on both the claims and the broader issue of transparency among religious leaders.
However, as of now, there has been no official confirmation or response from Pastor Muoka or the church regarding the allegations.
