Nigerian music sensation Davido has publicly expressed his grief over the passing of his close friend, Denisi. 

The tragic news first emerged two days ago when Joel Heugh Booysen shared on his Instagram stories that Denisi, who was known online as Ego222, had passed away.

While the cause of Denisi’s death has not been disclosed, Davido took to his Instagram story to pay tribute to his late friend.

“You loved and believed in me so much! I won’t let you down,” he wrote, promising to honor the trust and friendship they shared.
