Nollywood actress and producer Adebimpe Oyebade, popularly known as Mo Bimpe, has unveiled a new identity for her film production company, marking what she describes as a fresh chapter in her creative journey.
The Yoruba film star made the announcement on Tuesday via Instagram, where she reflected on her evolution as a filmmaker and entrepreneur.
Sharing her excitement with fans, she wrote, “New year. New chapter. New name. Ladies and gentlemen, I’m officially announcing a new era in my journey.”
Mo Bimpe’s production journey began nine years ago with her debut project Dear Sister, released under the banner of Oyebade Adebimpe Productions (OAP).
The company represented her first bold step into filmmaking, establishing her not only as an actress but also as a producer determined to shape her own narratives.
Following her marriage to fellow actor Lateef Adedimeji, the brand transitioned into Oyebade Bimpe Adedimeji Productions (OBAP).
Under that name, she produced several films and expanded her footprint in the industry, including the launch of her digital platform, Mobimpe TV. The rebranding reflected both her personal and professional growth at the time.
Now, the actress has introduced a new name: MOBIMPE ADEDIMEJI PRODUCTIONS (MAP). According to her, the change is more than cosmetic; it signals clarity, focus and a renewed creative direction.
“Growth demands change… and the change is here,” she wrote. “I am proud to introduce MOBIMPE ADEDIMEJI PRODUCTIONS (MAP). Strictly for Mobimpe’s productions. This isn’t just a name change. It’s clarity. It’s elevation. It’s alignment with where I am and where I’m headed.”
Mo Bimpe assured her followers that the rebrand represents a higher standard of storytelling and impact. “MAP is here, and trust me, everything just got better. Stronger stories.
Bigger vision. Greater impact,” she stated, thanking supporters who have followed her journey over the years. She added, “The best is no longer coming… The best is here. Let’s begin the year officially.”
Alongside the announcement, the actress revealed the first film to be released under the MAP banner. Titled Deadly Getaway, the project is set to premiere on Mobimpe TV. She described the film as a gripping drama that promises quality in every aspect of production.
“Our first MAP’s title is DEADLY GETAWAY… DEADLY GETAWAY is coming to MOBIMPE TV. This movie is very special, A solid 10/10 drama,” she wrote. “From the story, to the cast, the directing, the plot, the twist, everything about this one is TOPNOTCH.”
Mo Bimpe has built a reputation in Yoruba cinema for her compelling performances and consistent output as a producer. Her projects have gained traction both in traditional markets and across digital platforms, where she has cultivated a loyal fan base.
With the launch of MOBIMPE ADEDIMEJI PRODUCTIONS and the upcoming release of Deadly Getaway, the actress appears poised to strengthen her brand and expand her influence in Nollywood.
