Nollywood actress Rosy Meurer has stepped forward to address swirling social media speculation surrounding her marriage, firmly denying claims that she unfollowed her husband, Churchill, on Instagram.
In a heartfelt statement, she clarified that she has no intention of doing so and that the accusations are completely unfounded.
“I never unfollowed him and will never. When I go to his page it is still showing I am following,”
Rosy said, dismissing the rumours as either a technical glitch or “someone playing games somewhere.”
She emphasized that there is no reason for her to take such an action and expressed her frustration that the story gained traction on the birthday of her husband’s son, calling it a poorly timed narrative.
Rosy also addressed claims linking her to her husband’s ex-wife, stating that she has never met or interacted with her and that they are not friends. She added that she is about ten years younger than the ex.
“All the news that I was her best friend and I snatched her hubby are all lies,” she clarified.
Reflecting on her relationship with Churchill prior to his marriage, Rosy noted that he treated her like a brother and helped her career, emphasizing that they were never romantically involved. She reassured her fans that she loves all of his children equally and is willing to care for them whenever asked.
“If God says it is time for him and his ex to reunite because of their son, who am I to say no?” she said, highlighting her supportive and understanding approach to family dynamics.
Concluding her statement, Rosy challenged anyone claiming she “snatched” her husband to provide proof and reaffirmed her identity proudly as Mrs Churchill. Her statement seeks to put an end to the baseless rumours and present her side of the story with clarity and sincerity.
