Popular Nollywood actor Adeniyi Johnson has stirred massive emotions online after sharing a powerful testimony of growth, resilience, and divine turnaround.
The Yoruba movie star recently revisited a house that once symbolized his struggle the same place where he worked as a painter long before fame and recognition found him.
Taking to his Instagram page, Adeniyi Johnson shared a throwback photo from the early 2000s, showing himself and others at work during his days as a painter.
According to the actor, life brought him back to the same house years later, not as a laborer, but as a celebrated Nollywood actor on a movie set. The experience, he revealed, left him overwhelmed and emotional.
Adeniyi explained that returning to the house unlocked memories of hardship, rejection, and survival. Back then, he was barely noticed, focused only on earning a living. Today, however, the story has completely changed.
Instead of paint buckets and overalls, he returned with cameras, lights, and fans eager to take selfies with him a sharp contrast that moved him to tears.
Describing the moment as a full-circle experience, the actor credited faith, persistence, and God’s grace for rewriting his story.
He urged his followers never to give up, reminding them that today’s struggle could become tomorrow’s testimony.
In his words:
“I went to shoot in the same house where I was a painter, and I couldn’t control my tears!! I was there as a slave and now as a king.
Everyone wants a selfie.
The green line is pointing at me!!
That was me year 2000/2001, when I was a painter!
The story has changed today, and God is glorified!
Na who give up fuck up o.
Keep the faith alive!
God’s is good.
