Nigerian social commentator Isaac Fayose has stepped into the heated face-off between social critic VeryDarkMan and influencer King Mitchy and he is not holding back.
In a fiery reaction to the unfolding drama, Fayose claimed that VeryDarkMan had been going about his business quietly until King Mitchy allegedly stirred up the situation.
According to him, the influencer “found his trouble” and is now dealing with the aftermath of her own actions.
The outspoken commentator went further, urging security agencies to step in immediately. He called on the police to “do the needful,” adding that he hopes authorities are paying close attention to how events are developing.
Fayose also warned that if Mitchy emerges from the controversy without consequences, she should be made to answer legally even suggesting the possibility of jail time.
Meanwhile, in a separate development, King Mitchy has broken her silence following widespread rumors about her alleged death claims reportedly circulated by her management and which quickly went viral.
Taking to her Instagram page, the influencer addressed the backlash and speculation surrounding her recent actions, particularly her school renovation project.
“A lot of people have a lot to say about me lately… questioning my intentions, dragging my name, and trying to discredit something I did from my heart.
Yes, I renovated that school. I didn’t do it for validation. I did it because I understand what it means to grow up without certain privileges.
But what hurts me the most is how quickly people are to judge when they don’t know anything about my life.
You don’t know where I’m coming from.
I grew up without a father. If I see my father today, I wouldn’t even recognise him. The only time I ever saw him was when I was about 8 years old, and my mother took me to the prison to see him. That was it.
You don’t know what it feels like to grow up like that. You don’t know the strength it takes to keep going, to build yourself, to stand on your own. Yet, every day, people sit behind their phones and try to tear me down, insult me, bully me, and make me feel like I’m nothing.
But let me say this clearly, your words do not define me.
My story did not break me; it built me.
And everything I do, I do it with a genuine heart.
If you choose to hate me, that’s your decision. But don’t try to rewrite my truth.
I will keep growing. I will keep doing good. And I will not let anyone silence me.”
Her emotional response has since sparked mixed reactions online, as the controversy continues to dominate social media conversations.
