Award-winning Afrobeats superstar Davido has announced a major extension of his ongoing 5ive Alive World Tour, pushing the global concert run into 2026 with a fresh lineup of dates across Africa, Europe and North America. The extended tour continues to support his fifth studio album, 5IVE, which has enjoyed strong commercial success and critical attention since its release.

The singer shared the update through his verified social media platforms, triggering excitement among fans worldwide. According to the announcement, tickets for most of the newly added shows are already available, with early demand reflecting Davido’s enduring global appeal and the growing reach of Afrobeats on the international stage.

The 2026 phase of the tour will kick off in East Africa, with Davido set to headline a major concert in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, on February 7, 2026. The show will take place at the Lugalo Golf Club, marking a notable return to a region where the Nigerian star has consistently enjoyed massive fan support. Over the years, Davido’s music has resonated strongly across East Africa, and the upcoming performance is expected to draw thousands of fans from within Tanzania and neighbouring countries.

Continuing his African tour circuit, Davido will later make a stop in Lusaka, Zambia, on May 2, 2026. The Zambian concert is scheduled for the Showgrounds Polo Field and further highlights the singer’s commitment to maintaining a strong presence on the continent, even as his international profile continues to rise. Industry observers have praised Davido for consistently prioritising African tour dates alongside global engagements.

Following his African performances, Davido will head to Europe for an intensive two-week tour spanning seven major cities. The European leg is set to run from late March through early April 2026, taking the singer across some of the continent’s most vibrant music markets.

The European schedule opens on March 25, 2026, in Vienna, Austria, at the Raiffeisen Halle. He will then perform in Zürich, Switzerland, on March 27 at The Hall, before heading to Rotterdam, Netherlands, on March 28. The tour continues with a stop in Brussels, Belgium, on March 31, followed by shows in Stockholm, Sweden, on April 2, and Copenhagen, Denmark, on April 3. The European run will conclude in Barcelona, Spain, on April 5, rounding off what is expected to be a high-energy series of performances.

Beyond Europe and Africa, Davido is also set to achieve a historic milestone in North America. The Nigerian star will perform at Coachella 2026, becoming the only Afrobeats act announced for the globally renowned festival. He is billed to perform on April 11 and April 18 in Indio, California, sharing the stage with international pop heavyweights including Justin Bieber and Sabrina Carpenter.

Davido’s inclusion at Coachella is widely seen as a landmark moment for Afrobeats, underscoring the genre’s continued rise and acceptance on the world’s biggest music platforms. Fans and industry insiders alike have described the booking as another major win for African music on the global stage.

With the 5ive Alive World Tour now stretching into 2026, Davido continues to solidify his status as one of Africa’s most influential musical exports, blending continental loyalty with global dominance in a way few artists have achieved.
