BBNaija Level Up winner, Phyna, has once again raised concerns over her winnings from the 2022 edition of the reality show, claiming she is yet to receive the full ₦100 million prize promised to her after emerging victorious.

The reality TV star made the disclosure during a recent livestream where she openly expressed frustration over the lingering issue, noting that her previous attempts to speak out were met with criticism and disbelief from the public.

Phyna explained that the prize package announced at the end of the show was not limited to cash alone. According to her, it also included cash equivalents, an all-expenses-paid trip for two, as well as several product supplies from sponsors.

She alleged that, years after winning the competition, significant parts of these rewards are still outstanding, contrary to public assumptions that she had been fully compensated.

During the emotional livestream, Phyna lamented that she had been unfairly labelled a liar when she initially complained about the unpaid prize. She recalled how social media users dismissed her claims, accusing her of chasing clout or fabricating the issue.

Speaking partly in pidgin, she said, “First of all, them no give me ₦100M. Shebi when I dey cry online una talk say I dey lie. When I dey cry say dem dey owe me, una talk anything?” Her words reflected deep frustration and a sense of betrayal, especially after enduring backlash for speaking her truth.

The BBNaija star further revealed that the prolonged delay has negatively affected both her career and personal life. According to her, the lack of access to the full prize money has limited opportunities she hoped to explore after the show, including business investments and brand expansion plans.

She added that being forced to repeatedly explain herself has taken an emotional toll, but she felt compelled to speak out again to set the record straight.

Meanwhile, organisers of the show, MultiChoice Nigeria, have previously maintained that all obligations to Phyna were fulfilled.

However, Phyna strongly disputes this claim, insisting that she would not be speaking publicly if the matter had been resolved. She noted that going public was not her first choice, but the continued silence and lack of clarity left her with no other option.

Phyna’s renewed outburst has sparked fresh conversations online, with fans and social media users divided over the issue.

While some have expressed sympathy and urged the organisers to address the matter transparently, others have called for clear evidence to support her claims. As the debate continues, many are watching closely to see whether the organisers will respond again or provide further clarification on the alleged unpaid winnings.

For now, Phyna remains resolute in her stance, hoping that speaking out will finally bring closure to an issue she says has lingered for far too long.
